9. NORTH SHORE TRAIL
This trail (a snowmobile trail in our snowy months) connects the Onion River Road to the Barker Lake Trail, a distance of about 2.5 miles. It is a grassy, dirt and gravel trail that can be soft in places during wet weather and is moderately hilly.

10. BARKER LAKE TRAIL
This trail travels from the Honeymoon Trail (8 miles north of Highway 61 on the Caribou Trail, then 1 mile west on the Honeymoon) south to Barker Lake, an uninhabited wilderness lake. Although the surface is smooth gravel, there is little automobile traffic. Raspberries are plentiful along this road in August. This is a favorite shuttle drop off point when used in conjunction with the Poplar River Trail, connecting to several resorts.

11. POPLAR RIVER TRAIL
This trail runs between Barker Lake Trail and the Lutsen Mountain Ski Area and resorts, a distance of 3 miles. Its surface is firm gravel and grass, except for a short section just north of the bike bridge over the Poplar River which can be soft during wet weather. It provides a popular loop trip from the resorts near the ski area to the Poplar River Bridge (4 miles round trip).

LUTSEN MOUNTAINS BIKE PARK
The Lutsen Mountain Bike Park extends over two mountains and includes 32 miles of marked trails. Terrain varies from casual riding to advanced technical descents. The combination of lift access with single track, works roads, open slopes and ledge rock make this a spectacular riding playground in the Midwest for all skill levels.
