What's your idea of an adveture
When spring dusts the last bit of snow off our mountains a whole new world is revealed. And it's fun for the whole family. Start at the new Hiking Center where you can pick up a map with tips on the best places to hike. You'll also find rental boots, backpacks, and child carriers to gear you up for a great day in the outdoors.

Care for something a little faster? Try the lift-serviced Alpine Slide at Sawtooth Mountain Park. Hop on your sled and cruise down an exhilarating half-mile of twisting, turning track to the base. It's amusement park fun the whole family will enjoy.

Perhaps your idea of an adventure is canoeing on a smooth glassy lake ... and spotting a moose on the shore? How about snagging the big one ... and landing it? Or maybe your perfect adventure is hiking along and discovering a new flower or checking the view from a lighthouse.

The North Shore Mountain Tram gives you the ultimate vantage point from which to view the Sawtooth Mountains and Lake Superior. Gently traversing the Poplar River Valley, the mountain tram takes you to the summit of the Shore's highest peak -- 1,000 spectacular feet above Lake Superior. Don't miss seeing the fall colors from up here!

Hit the Trail

If you want to enjoy the rugged outdoors without giving up the indoor pampering, then lodge-to-lodge hiking is for you. Your itinerary is planned, luggage shuttled, meals provided, and our area B&Bs, cabins, lodges, and resorts offer great options for individuals, couples, and families.
